Yards of expressions, from
Yesterdays to todays,
Yearn to come out,
Yielding fabrics of repose.
Yet, the grey cells, restlessly clamor
Yelping to yank you out -
You, stuck thought -
Yo-yoing in the rifts of the spirit -
Your hide and seek gets to my Nerves!
Yap out to me your intentions,
Yoke your form to my words!
Yayyyy thats a lot of Y's :D

ReplyDeletegood one laxmi as always . Get well soon
Yelping to yank you out - I think the words just tumble forth - not need to yank. I'm amazed at how you put line after line of Ys together.
ReplyDeleteAs always perfectly expressed in spite of the constraints of the form you've chosen. Today I actually read the entire poem out loud. And I wondered why did I wait for the second-last day of the challenge to do that. Drugs and lethargy - you are no match for the fiery ball of talent that is Laxmi.
ReplyDeleteLaxmi, great post.. the stuck thoughts can actually take one to a tiffy Nevertheless great poetry!
ReplyDeleteBang on yet again with Y ...you rock girl!
ReplyDeleteYipeeee! You are the coolest one.
