Nightly, in the quiet of the sphere,
Niftily, you creep in..
Nudging vitality that eludes the day,
Nurturing untold sources of impressions.
Numberless buds of cognition,
Nubs of engaging tales,
Narrating gaily, with bug eyed zeal,
Nuances of suggestions!
Nimbly you sneak in, tiptoeing to a commotion,
Notions spark banishing the slumber,
Nursing brisk bustle in the brains.
Need for caffeine never arises,
Nuisance you are, for naps diffuse, into
Numerous little bits of spasms
Noting down nonsensical scrawls.
Now nights were never so interesting were they ! :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautifully you weave and play with words :) :D :D
Nice! I remember those days! Still happens! :D
ReplyDeleteThere was a time when nocturnal would've been easy - now I like my beauty sleep. Nice lot of Ns.
ReplyDeleteAhh I identify so much with that! :) Brilliant, as usual.
ReplyDeleteI am the kind of person who likes to sleep at 10 and get up at 5. Not Nocturnal at all !
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part Narrating gaily, with bug eyed zeal,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all , this ain't a "nonsensical scrawl" at all ;-) Second , you summed up the nuances of a restless soul so beautifully ...my poem today was also about night ...maybe two great insane minds think alike ;-)

ReplyDeleteWow! You brought out the nuances of nocturnal habits so beautifully. I am in awe of this talent of yours.
ReplyDeleteThe nocturnal in me loved it. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish when the dreams and "N"ightmares creep in, I have the ability to record them or even remember them the next day. Niftily they slink away too.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for "o" Laxmi!
Love the nuances in this poem.
